Although primarily used by Pilots and Aircrew, Personal Locator Beacons are also used widely within maritime and land environments giving personnel the ability to send a distress alert from anywhere on the earth’s surface.
The Sarbe 6-406G Evo is a significant advancement in Personal Locator Beacon technology by ensuring that alerts contain accurate location information. The correct authority is quickly informed by the distress alert and can subsequently inform the rescue teams.
