Rochester, NY, December 4, 2019 – Orolia, the world leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT), announced today that it has won the 2019 ASTORS Homeland Security Awards in two key categories. The awards, sponsored by American Security Today, were presented at the ISC East Conference in New York City to recognize organizations that were actively addressing today’s evolving Homeland Security challenges in innovative ways.

The Orolia Awards included:

  • SecureSync® – Platinum Award for Best Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Solution
  • BroadSim – Platinum Award for Best Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) Simulation System

“We are honored to receive these awards in recognition of the contributions that our products and solutions are making to homeland security,” said Paul Zweers, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Orolia. “Orolia is dedicated to ensuring the availability of PNT data for critical systems used by first responders, warfighters and homeland security personnel. From ensuring that GPS/GNSS-reliant systems are field-ready to maintaining situational awareness, we continue our long history of innovation in technologies that keep people safe.”

American Security Today’s ASTORS Homeland Security Awards Program is the most comprehensive homeland security awards program in the industry, organized to recognize the most distinguished companies and agencies for their outstanding efforts to keep the United States secure.

Orolia’s SecureSync time and frequency reference solutions synchronize critical military and commercial operations where failure is not an option. Combining precision master clock technology with exceptional configurability, SecureSync delivers the industry’s highest standards for extreme reliability, security, redundancy and flexibility in a rugged, modular cost-effective form factor. SecureSync is the first time and frequency reference system to be listed on the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) Approved Products List for network interoperability.

Powered by Orolia’s Skydel GNSS simulator engine, BroadSim is a revolutionary software-defined GNSS simulator that enables military readiness for NAVWAR and GPS degraded and denied environments. BroadSim simplified the creation of advanced jamming and spoofing scenarios and supports the simultaneous simulation of multiple constellations including encrypted military codes. For today’s military operations, it is paramount to build and run simulated jamming and spoofing scenarios on PNT systems to prepare for compromised environments.

From critical timing solutions to GPS/GNSS simulation platforms to interference detection, mitigation, suppression and countermeasures, Orolia is the industry leader in end-to-end NAVWAR and Resilient PNT solutions to protect, augment and strengthen military systems for GPS-denied environments.
