Spectracom Corporation Acquired by Orolia

Rochester, New York, August 28, 2007 – Resilient positioning, navigation and timing company Orolia today announced the acquisition of Spectracom Corp., a Rochester, New York-based provider of time and frequency synchronization platforms and simulation equipment.

With the combined operations, both parties said that they aimed to strengthen product lines, to enhance the combined technology portfolio and to increase their worldwide presence.
