Resilient PNTPosition, Navigation, and Timing: PNT and map data combine to create the GPS service. is a global priority, and the world’s leading economies are taking steps to better protect Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) data for defense and critical infrastructure. Their common goal is to increase the resilience of critical resources through a wide variety of PNT technologies for air, land and sea applications.
This webinar will present an overview of key European national and regional initiatives underway, and offer perspectives on focus areas from multinational experts. Panelists will also consider potential areas where interoperability and partnerships could help deliver solutions faster, and enable rapid innovation in the PNT community. These global perspectives will provide a broader view of the challenges, along with some promising solutions, that are being considered today.
There will also be an introduction of the new Open PNT Industry Alliance, a coalition of positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) companies to fortify economic and national security by supporting government efforts to accelerate the implementation of backup PNT capabilities for critical infrastructure.
